Panos E. Vasiloudes, MD, PhD

FAAP

Dr. Vasiloudes earned his MD from Philipps University in Marburg, Germany (1987) and his PhD (summa cum laude) in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Freiburg (1989), with research conducted at Rockefeller University in New York and Philipps University Marburg. His residency training in pediatrics at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia gave him an exceptionally broad clinical foundation.

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Vasiloudes founded Delta Clinical Research to bring precision clinical trial infrastructure to Tampa Bay. He holds a fellowship from the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves as a volunteer assistant professor at USF in the Department of Pediatrics.

As Principal Investigator, Dr. Vasiloudes will oversee Delta's clinical trials across Phase II–IV and multiple therapeutic areas, grounded in decades of medical practice and a firm commitment to regulatory excellence and participant welfare.

Kelly J. Zook, MD

Neonatal & Perinatal Medicine

Dr. Zook is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics (2005, recertified 2015) and the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine subspecialty (2010), and is current on Maintenance of Certification for both. She earned her MD from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia (2002), completed a dual-institutional pediatrics residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, and returned to Jefferson and Christiana Care for a three-year Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship.

As Principal Investigator at Delta Clinical Research, Dr. Zook leads pediatric, maternal-fetal, and neonatal trial initiatives. She brings 17+ years of in-house neonatology practice through Onsite Neonatal Partners — including 11 years at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando — plus medical-director consulting for Blue Cross Blue Shield (2018–2020) and Centene Healthcare Management (2020–2023), where she chaired biweekly Neonatal Grand Rounds on complex cases.

Her peer-reviewed work in the Journal of Perinatology includes a 2009 first-author study on the hematologic effects of placental pathology in very low birth weight infants of preeclamptic mothers, and a 2006 co-authored paper on racial disparities in prenatal care for VLBW deliveries. Earlier research on packed red blood cell transfusions and necrotizing enterocolitis received the Philadelphia Perinatal Society's Thomas R. Boggs Jr. Research Award. She is currently lead investigator on three quality-improvement studies at the St. Joseph's/Candler Health System.

Beyond research and clinical practice, Dr. Zook served as a neonatology consultant for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Hope Christian Hospital in Ghana, and is a long-running medical-team member with Mercy Ships and the Mama Project / Healthy Niños outreach. She is a three-time recipient of the St. Joseph's/Candler "We Care" Award for Values in Action — chosen by staff and patients — and was nominated for New Jersey Top Doctors.
